Believe Everything You Hear

Another week came and went.

It turns out that the whole nut fiasco was WHOLE FOODS fault, not mine! When I went back in to double check the muffins, the walnuts were NOT listed on the ingredients... Needless to say, I made an employee open one up just to prove my point. Thus far, Whole Foods hasn't been overly helpful in apologizing ... although I did talk to the vice president at corporate on Friday and she promised that she'd look after me. RRRrrrrrrr. I like going there because they sell themselves as being very allergy-friendly, not because it costs $2 for a freaking apple. Not too happy with them at this point.. I even went back in and noticed that after they promised me they had changed their signage, they indeed did not (so I took pictures and have a muffin sitting in my freezer).

Last night a very cool guy that I met at a party Paul's professor hosted, invited Paul and I to a "World Music" party. We drank lots of wine, ate cheese with flowers in it, and enjoyed many yummy (nut free) desserts while listening to 14 songs from around the world. There were lots of cool people; many working for tech companies but I also met another girl my age working for at another after-school enrichment centre. The music party was held in this amazing backyard... he lives in a garage (like I use to) but this garage was 2 floors and completely decked out.. very sweet! I hung out with one of the founders of YouTube and another startup company owner was there.. this part of the world has so many cool things going on! Always progressing!

I just got home from a pig-roast on campus. There have been so many free food and social events going on lately... and the frat parties on Friday were completely crazy. I didn't think Stanford knew how to party.. but I was seriously one of the oldest people there.
